Quiet and beautiful old style double bedroom and study with period furniture and excellent cooking facilities on first floor of tall, comfortable family house in a pretty, tree-lined side-street in a very sought-after area near shops and buses and excellent restaurants. Low background heating plus individual heaters, large amount of storage space - hanging cupboards and three chests of drawers, antique desk and dining table, extra bedding, two fridges, rice cookers, cooking hob and oven, electric kettle, TV, wifi all on first floor - and free use of washing machine and tumble dryer in basement. Lavatory and nice clean bathroom on mezzanine floor a few steps down. The house is 3 minutes away from various buses and equidistant from several undergrounds, including ten minutes’ walk to Earls Court or Gloucester Road Tube Stations. We are a grown up, quiet anglo-Japanese family and I am a semi-retired English teacher, editor and accent coach. We are looking to let out the first floor for several months or preferably the whole of the academic year and the rooms would be equally suitable for a single occupant or a couple sharing with commensurate adjustment to the weekly rent.
