ロンドンをベースにアンティーク着物のディーラーをしておりますFuruki Yo-Kimono （ふるきよきもの）と申します。
11月16−19日で、エンジェル駅付近のギャラリーWhite Conduit Projectsにて、アンティーク着物のポップアップショップを開催します。

私のメインの品揃えは1920−30年代、大正から昭和初期にかけての大正モダンの時代の絹の着物、羽織、長襦袢、などで、新しめのものですと1970年代くらいまでの着物です。そのほか、木綿の浴衣や、男性ものや子供の着物、はぎれや帯などの小物類もございます。
２００点ほど一気にディスプレイしておりますので、お気軽に試着していただけます。

通常は私は東ロンドンのスピタルフィールズマーケットの木曜日（骨董の日）に月に一度程度出店するのみで、今回のように週末にかけてゆっくりご覧いただける機会は今年はこれで最後になります。

Hundrets of colourful, full of patterns vintage kimono just arrived from Japan!
Sonoe Sugawara, a London-based vintage kimono dealer and owner of Furuki Yo-Kimono Vintage, which showcases the world of vintage & antique kimono.

The main collection of my kimonos are from 1920-30s pre-war period known in Japan as the Taisho period and Japanese Art Deco period when Western modernism mingled with Japanese tradition. Most kimono can be unisex, reversible and very much wearable for many occasions. Some materials and techniques used in vintage kimono are hard to find in modern kimono or are much higher in price, because of the exquisite workmanship involving much greater time and effort. Vintage kimono can be regarded as wearable works of art. The most important thing is to just enjoy wearing kimono.

This is my only pop-up shop before the Christmas and a rare opportunity to experience her kimonos closely for a longer period (Usually my stall is only open once a month or less in the Spitalfields Market).
