Looking for subjects in my MA research
Dear all,
I am afraid of this sudden notice. I am Tomoyo Kamijo who is a postgraduate student in MA Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching. As a part of my dissertation credit, I am doing the linguistic experiment. To put it simply, my research topic is about the correlation between phonemic awareness (the ability to manipulate phonemes in each English word) and reading comprehension. I am looking for native speakers of Japanese or Mandarin Chinese (living in English speaking countries less than 5 years). I will ask my subjects to record their English pronunciation and take the reading comprehension test. It will be finished in 1 hour and 15 minutes. I will give 5 pounds of reward and the travel cost if need. The date will be fixed depending on the subjects’ schedule and the data should be collected by 20th August. I can travel to anywhere in London and I am grateful to pass this information to your friends and join this experiment together. I look forward to your help and any kind of questions if you have. I’d love to join your experiment as well.
Yours sincerely,
Tomoyo Kamijo
