‘SEOUL MY SOUL’ Brand Wins iF Design Award 2024

Seoul received an award in the ‘City Branding’ category in iF Design Award in Germany, one of the top three design competitions in the world.
‘SEOUL MY SOUL’ is the only city branding to win an award in 2024, a feat achieved only six months after its announcement.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government’s brand, SEOUL MY SOUL ‘SEOUL MY SOUL,’ won the iF Design Award (International Forum Design Awards) 2024, one of the top three design competitions in the world, in the ‘Communication, City Branding’ category.

The brand is known to be the only city brand to win the award this year. The city government accomplished the feat only six months after announcing the new brand last August. Now, the ‘SEOUL MY SOUL’ brand will find its place in the hearts of not just Seoul citizens but people around the world.

The SMG interpreted the award as recognition of not only the brand’s design value, but also the brand-making process involving more than 800,000 citizens and experts, its wide media applications including social network service and videos, and its high versatility.
