Handyman / fire door installer needed – Islington

Hi,

I’m looking for an experienced tradesperson to inspect and carry out work on the kitchen door of my flat in Islington as part of an HMO property licence application.

The kitchen door needs to meet the required FD30S fire door specification and be self-closing. Please inspect the existing door, frame, hinges, seals, gaps and closer, then advise whether the door can be brought up to standard or needs replacing. I’d appreciate a quote covering labour, materials and any necessary frame adjustments, along with photos and an invoice for the completed work.

I’m based overseas, so someone who can communicate clearly, arrange access in advance and share findings by message or video would be ideal. Please let me know your experience with fire door installations, availability and whether you can visit to assess the work. I’m happy to discuss the cost of the visit and measurements beforehand.
