Shop Staff - Sozai Cafe in County Hall - Part Time (around 30 hours per week)

Sozai Cafe is one of Japanese cuisine takeaway dilicatessen shop in County Hall. We, Sozai Cafe, are founded in May of this year, 2019! We are selling healthy, beautiful and also tasty Japanese food in reasonable price in the County Hall. Now, we, Sozai Cafe has been developing and constructing our shop! Therefore, in this time, we will hire some of Shop Staff who brighten up the lives of our customers with our healthy, colourful, beautiful and of course tasty Japanese food and also promote Japanese food throughout processes of selling it.

The Role:
We are currently looking for an outgoing, positive Shop Staff, with a passion for the Japanese cuisine selling, to join our retail operations team within a busy environment. You will report into the shop manager and you will be responsible for delivering an excellent customer experience.

This is a part time position at around 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
Work alongside food retailing workflow to create safety, clean and hygienated enviroment of our shop. And also make a friendly and positive shopping environment, with a strong customer focus at all times.
Utilise your selling skills to build rapport with our customers and drive sales and customer satisfaction.
Maintain excellent Japanese cuisine knowledge, food presentation and merchandising at all times.
Adhere to all store security, food safety and hygiene requirement.
Deal with requests and orders efficiently to maximize customer experience.
Ensuring shop health and safety aspects are continually adhered to for the safety of the team and all customers.

About You:
Fluent in English (Crucial feature).
A confident, highly motivated, outgoing individual with a natural skill for building relationships and explain what kind of cuisine we are selling effectively to our customers in English (Crucial feature).
Great attention to detail, especially on the food safety and hygiene in the retail shop enviroment and yourself (Crucial feature).
Knowledge of Japanese food (Crucial feature).
Fluency and knowledge of Japanese is asset, but not crucial.
