International Wine Challenge Crew 2020
The IWC is now recruiting for IWC Sake Crew to help with the management and implementation of IWC Sake 2020. We will need staff in our warehouse and tasting venue at the Kia Oval, Kennington, Dates are: 14April to 28April 2020.
The right applicants will possess a can-do attitude, be hardworking and motivated as well as being able to work as part of an internationally diverse team. There will be wines/sake from all over the world to unpack, collate and prepare before the week long tasting process. It’s gruelling work, long hours but very rewarding and informative. You need to be physically fit and able to lift hundreds of cases of sake weighing around 15KG.
Don’t worry if you don’t know anything about sake, or if you believe you are an expert. We need all abilities from carrying boxes (which there is a lot of) as well as help to identify sake. Everyone does the same roles, and they change frequently.
We will provide you with a really warm puffa jacket and t-shirts to work in. Please note the normal working hours will be 9am to 5.30pm each day during set up and 8am to 8pm when we are tasting as a minimum, and some weekends too. But you will get the opportunity to taste sake from all over the world and meet many wine trade professionals.
Interviews will be taking place on Wednesday 26 February the at the WSET building. You need to be available for between 2 weeks in April.

IWC Sake:
We will also need a small crew to work for 2 weeks on IWC Sake. This role would only be for 2 weeks starting on the 14th April. Interviews would also be taking place on Wednesday 26 February at the WSET building. You need to be available for 2 weeks in April.

Salary and Benefits:
Crew members benefit from holiday pay and are paid monthly into UK bank accounts.
