Percussionists for London Borough of Culture Event

Hello,

My name is Jon and I’m a visual artist based in London.

I am developing a project for Brent 2020 as part of the Mayor’s London Borough of Culture initiative.

Spanning art, music and performance, Culture Move (Sampled History) is a dynamic exhibition tracing the diverse cultural heritage of the London borough of Brent. The show will run from April to June 2020 at the Brent Museum and Archives in The Library at Willesden Green.

I am looking for a Japanese Percussionist or Taiko Drummer to participate in the event. The show is non-commercial, however it is funded by the Arts Council and it is a paid opportunity based on the Musicians Union Casual Performance Fee of £146. Two short rehearsals are required to be attended in addition to the performance.

Lev Parikian, conductor of the Brent Symphony Orchestra, will be leading the group.
