Operations Support-Japanese Speaking
A Japanese speaker is required to join a global leader in quality assurance due to a period of fast growth. You will mainly provide translation, interpreting in meetings and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Japanese Quality Assurance department. You will provide ad-hoc support for many Japanese localisation projects and act as a main contact with multiple teams and external Japanese clients.
What is required:
• Highly fluent in Japanese and English; ability to articulate well in both written and verbal format.
• Practical knowledge of subtleties of Japanese culture, ideally gained from work experience for Japanese companies.
• Previous experience of being a Japanese translator or interpreter.
• Work experience in video games localisation and quality assurance is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the current generation of games consoles and PCs, and the latest mobile and tablet platforms.
• Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, PPT and Outlook); ability to navigate websites with different browsers
• Good attention to details; ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• A valid work permit to work in the UK
