Market research & localisation agency Tokyoesque (http://tokyoesque.com) seeks a native-level Japanese speaker to join our team as a freelancer, starting asap.

The candidate is expected to have excellent written and verbal ability in Japanese and English with a keen eye for market research and consumer trends within Europe and Japan.

Summary of Primary Job Responsibilities:

Assist with UK- and Japan-related research.
Write regular articles/content both in Japanese and English for clients.
Liaise with existing clients and generate leads, both in Japan and the UK
Research marketing/consumer trends in the UK and Japan.
Translate materials between Japanese and English.
Knowledge/Skills

Native or Native-level written and spoken Japanese and English.
Ability to work remotely.
Good writing skills and ability to translate to / from Japanese
Keen eye for marketing/consumer trends in Japan and the UK.
Work hours are flexible and will be on an as-needed basis
This role is ideal for a master or PhD student.
