Sushi Chef required, offer a work permit
Moshi Moshi was the first conveyor belt sushi restaurant in the UK opening in 1994, and we are recruiting a Sushi Chef for our flagship Liverpool Street Station branch. All our sushi is hand-made on site, and we use local ingredients where possible, and in particular use locally and sustainably caught fish.
We are a small team of 6 chefs, many of whom have worked together for a decade or more. The successful candidate will be skilled in all aspects of sushi making, from preparing and filleting whole fish, to making nigiri sushi, and the presentation of sashimi and sushi, and may also work in the hot kitchen section.
Candidates will have the following qualities:
• Passion for food, eager to learn, good team worker and reliable
• Basic knowledge of Japanese food
• Sushi is all about theatre! Our chefs are there to help customers understand more about their sushi

There is an opportunity for a young, creative chef to develop new seasonal menus with the Head chef and learn classic sushi making skills.
Hours – 35-40 per week / plus overtime available if needed.
Monday to Friday only
£12.50 to 13.50 per hour. depending on experience
