Wismettac Harro Foods Ltd is a fast growing importer, wholesaler, and distributor of Japanese food. Based in Chessington, we supply frozen and ambient food, drinks, and kitchen goods to the food service industry and retailers in the UK and Europe. Wismettac Harro Foods Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nishimoto Wismettac Group and holds certification in storage and distribution from British Retail Consortium Global Standard (BRCGS).
Job Title Sales Administrator
Reports to Sales Administration Manager
Main Function
To provide service and assistance to customers while working to legal compliance and accredited standards of food safety management and quality
Responsibilities include
• Enter customer orders in a timely and accurate manner
• Handle customer enquiries and direct them to the appropriate person where needed
• Assist Sales Executives as needed and requested
• Assist in the management of special product lists for customers
• Communicate clearly with other departments to make sure that customer requirements are met
• Work closely with Logistics to ensure smooth delivery and high standard of customer service
• Handle returns, complaints and other claims from customers, and coordinate with the necessary department(s) to resolve problems
• Work with Accounts to resolve questions about customer credit limits or payments
• Demonstrate knowledge, understanding and enthusiasm for WHF’s business and products in order to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain all aspects of administration to a high standard and be committed to achieving tight customer SLAs
• Ensure adherence to relevant legislation as well as company procedures and standards
• Perform any other reasonable management requests as needed
Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in customer service and/or sales
• Advanced computer skills for data entry and communication
o Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
o Pegasus Opera 3 financial software*
*training to be provided as needed
• Polite, helpful phone manner
• Understanding of wholesale trade helpful
• Knowledge of Japanese/Asian/ethnic foods helpful
• Customer focused individual
• Dynamic personality
• Well developed interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
• Able to respond quickly to operational demands
• Foreign language skills helpful but not essential, especially Japanese, Chinese, Korean
