Junior Japanese chef (Mon-Fri Only)
Moshi Moshi in Liverpool Street station opened in 1994 and we have made delicious, ethical sushi ever since, using quality ingredients from around the British Isles.
We are looking for a Japanese chef who can work in our sushi bar and hot kitchen, to compliment our sushi, focussing on seasonally changing classic Izakaya dishes such as tempura, yakitori and katsu.
The successful candidate will:
Enjoy working in a small, friendly team of 6 chefs. We will give full training for entry level chefs.
There is an opportunity for a young, creative chef to develop new seasonal menus with the Head chef and learn classic sushi making skills, as well as learn from our Master Chef finalist Creative chef.
We offer 28 days holiday a year, that rises to 33 after two years of consecutive service, plus we operate a paid 'bonus holiday' of 3 weeks after 4 years of service.
Hours : 35-40 per week
Monday to Friday only
£11.50 - £12.50 / hour depending on experience plus cash tips.
