Kitchen Assistant - MONDAY TO FRIDAY

Gochisou serves quality sushi, bento boxes and its famous katsu curry to the lovely people working in the Enjoy Work Business Park in Chiswick.

As we recover from COVID restrictions we now need to increase the size of our kitchen team.

The shop is open Monday to Friday from 11 am - 4:30 pm

As a kitchen assistant, you will come in early Monday to Friday to help the head chef prepare the food for the lunch service. This involves making sushi using sushi robots and putting together salads and boxes of hot food. During service, you will prep for the next day and assist the front of house team serve food at the hot counter.

You will also be expected to monitor food safety and follow strict HACCP procedures. The site has a 5-star food hygiene rating which must be maintained.

Japanese food experience would be an advantage but not essential. You must be able to commit to 5 days a week, Monday to Friday. The site does not open at the weekend or in the evening.

Requirements:

English level: Able to understand and basic communication (Dont worry if your english its not perfect, we will help you to improve it)

-Right to work (If you arrived in the UK after 31 December 2020) / YMS is welcome

- Flexibility (Help FOH when needed)

-Full availability (Between 6 am to 5pm)

-Punctual and trustworthy

-Willing to work under pressure
