Sushi chef/hot food chef, Waiter/waitress
Moshi Moshi was the first conveyor belt sushi restaurant in the UK opening in 1994, and we are recruiting a Chef, Waiter/Waitress for our Liverpool Street Station branch. All our sushi is hand-made on site, and we use local ingredients where possible, and in particular use locally and sustainably caught fish.
We are a small team of 7 chefs, many of whom have worked together for a decade or more. The successful candidate will be flexible and will be trained by our highly skilled chefs on all aspects of sushi making, from preparing and filleting whole fish, to making nigiri sushi, and the presentation of sashimi and sushi, and may also work in the hot kitchen section.
Candidates will have the following qualities:
• Passion for food, eager to learn, good team worker and reliable
• Knowledge of Japanese food would be an advantage although full training will be given.
• Sushi is all about theatre! Our chefs are there to help customers understand more about their sushi
One Full time or two Part Time positions available.
Hours Monday to Friday only, Weekends off!! 8am to 3pm for the Lunch trades plus two or three evening shifts per week, 5pm to 9pm.
Competitive salary, 28 days Holidays including Bank Holidays, Meals served on site.
