Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant to Direct
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our nursery. You will join a small admin team consisting of one Senior Administrator and one Assistant Parent Administrator.
You will assist the Director and staff, manage communication with parents, and take on a variety of administrative tasks. We welcome candidates who are highly organised, communicative, and proactive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Director’s schedule and emails
- Respond to parent inquiries (phone and email)
- Support the coordination of nursery events and activities
- Assist with day-to-day site operations
- Handle purchases and manage supplies
- Maintain and update digital systems and records
- Attend nursery events and parent interactions as required
Person Specification:
- Highly organised and reliable
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Confident with Google Workspace, Excel and caliculation
- Enjoys working collaboratively in a small team
- Able to interact flexibly and professionally with children and parents
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in administration, PA, or operations
- Comfortable handling phone calls
- Flexible availability for occasional evenings or weekends
