IT Support Engineer

<Position overview>
The main purpose of this position is to support end-users and troubleshoot a range of issues,
including Windows 10&11, email, network access, Microsoft Office 365 Suite, security software, and laptop/mobile hardware.

<Key duties>
・Typical daily work activities and tasks will include, but not be limited to, the following:
・Provide support to end users via on-site support, desk visits, and remote support
・Be responsible for ensuring end users are kept up to date on progress by communicating with users constantly
・Manage devices, accounts, email, and mobile device setup
・Ensure high priority/impact incidents are resolved using exceptional care, speed and efficiency

・Good product knowledge of outlined core technologies
・Excellent soft and client handling skills
・Excellent organisational skills and effective prioritisation of tasks
・Demonstrate a flexible approach and self-discipline in order to work well either independently or within the team environment
・Willing to learn with a positive 'can-do' attitude

<Skills & Experience needed in this position>
・It is essential you have a minimum of 2 years or equivalent level of experience in a customer-facing 2nd line support role
・Proven experience installing, maintaining, and supporting hardware and software in a Microsoft Windows & Mac environment
・Systems administration of Microsoft 365
・Sound knowledge of basic networking principles
・Ability to work independently and with a small team
・Fluent/Business level English (necessary)
・Japanese speaking, reading or writing skills (JLPT N2/N3 level)
・Experience working in Japan or a Japanese company would be a plus

<Terms of employment>
・Salary dependent on experience and skillsets
・You’ll be required to work 5 days a week (Monday – Friday) from 9:30 – 18:00
・Your probation will be 6 months
・28 days annual leave (including national holidays)
