What’s the Job?
40 hours /5 days a week, responsible for being the first point of contact for our clients and delivering a
first-class service to anyone that comes through our doors. You will also be responsible for achieving
sales targets, maximizing sales and driving profitability. Consistently provides the highest level of
customer service by demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and store standards with a
commercial understanding of key sales drivers and opportunities.
What will I do?
Responsible for achieving set targets and all other defined KPIs (Key Performance Indicator)
within the Salon and support the wider team to reach these.
Ensure stock is maintained to a high standard and all stock treated with respect.
Meeting and greeting guests upon arrival.
Managing hair and beauty appointments via Shortcuts booking system by phone, in person and
Managing bookings with the team to ensure appointments run to time and clients are kept
Up-selling and cross-selling services and products.
Promote a positive work environment by maintaining a respectful workplace
Willing to be receive barista training for serving different types of coffees
Excellent timekeeping and positive work ethics
Actively engage in positive dialogue with customers to establish their needs, offer guidance and
Delivers exceptional customer service
Conduct effective sales floor product demonstrations where appropriate
What skills and qualities will I need?
Relevant experience in the Hair/Beauty Industry with experience as a Hair Salon Receptionist
or similar but passionate about hair & beauty is a must
Fluent English in both written and oral speaking
Relevant Experience with Salon booking systems such as Shortcuts/ Isalon
Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel and have a good general knowledge of IT
Ability to manage people in a respectful manner is a must and your customer service has to be
Desire to continuously learn and develop
Committed team player
Ability to delegate tasks and activities
Be flexible to working different shifts when required
Ability to work confidently and effectively under pressure
Patience and a calm attitude towards salon life
Working experience in a luxury background is ideal
Salon Hours: 9:30am-5:30pm Monday and 9:30am-7:00pm Tuesday-Saturday
Salon Days: Monday - Saturday, 5 Day Working Week, 40 hours a week. Shift
