Dear Asia is the premium school for Asian languages and cultures in London.
As the Learning Manager for Japanese & Korean languages, your responsibilities
will encompass daily learning coordination tasks, teaching, and teacher recruitment.
Requirements
• Native Japanese or Korean speaker with knowledge of both languages
preferred.
• Fluent in English and possesses excellent communication skills.
• Academic excellence with a degree(s) in education, linguistics, or related
social studies.
• Minimum of 4 years of working experience as a teacher or in other service
industries.
• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
• Must have full working rights in the UK or at least 6+ months of working right
to pass probation and Tier 2 visa application if required.
• Willingness to commit medium to long term as our Founding Partner in the
Japanese and Korean department.
Responsibilities and Duties
Learning management
• Effectively handle daily incoming inquiries, while maintaining and updating the
CRM system to track leads.
• Delegate teaching responsibilities to both full-time and freelance teachers,
ensuring a well-organized team.
• Efficiently manage timetables and classroom arrangements for all teachers
and lessons across multiple locations.
• Closely monitor the progress of each class and individual student in
collaboration with the teaching staff.
• Devise effective strategies to improve services, boost referrals and increase
tuition sales.
Teaching & Training
• Conduct Japanese/Korean classes on site or off site and provide tutoring to
individual students when needed.
• Create comprehensive outlines, teaching plans, and engaging learning
activities for our language programs.
• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process of new teachers,
ensuring a seamless integration into the team.
• Offer full support to a team of part-time teachers, fostering a collaborative and
positive working environment.
• Develop training materials for teachers, organize training meetings, and
ensure consistent teaching standards across the school.
