Experienced Japanese hot kitchen chef, Mon to Thur
Unpretentious, authentic and the first company to bring conveyor belt sushi to the UK, Moshi Moshi is looking for a hot kitchen chef to complement our sushi, focussing on seasonally changing classic Izakaya dishes such as tempura, yakitori and katsu.
Moshi Moshi in Liverpool Street station opened in 1994 and we have made delicious, ethical sushi ever since, using quality ingredients from around the British Isles.
The successful candidate will:
Enjoy working in a small, friendly team of 6 chefs
Have at least 2 years of experience in a hot kitchen, ideally with tempura experience
There is an opportunity for a young, creative chef to develop new seasonal menus with the Head chef and learn classic sushi making skills, as well as learn from our Master Chef finalist Creative chef.
We offer 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays a year, that rises to 5 weeks after two years of consecutive service, plus we operate a paid 'bonus holiday' of 3 weeks after 4 years of service.
Hours : 30 per week
Monday to Thursday only
£12.50 + / hour depending on experience plus tips.
