Job profile

Japanese logistics company currently are looking for a customer service coordinator / Sales Assistant  to provide support and services to their clients.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

*Liaise with customers on any mandatory information required for handling their freight.
*Communicate with staff in operations departments to arrange shipments and
      maintain regular contacts with customers to identify their operational needs.
*Reply adequately to enquiries from customers/all of Their Group by phone calls, emails or in other forms.
*Deal with customers’ complaints, provide appropriate solutions and follow ups and communicate internally to improve service quality.
*Make/prepare quotes by collecting relative costs and required information.
*Provide bi-lingual support as and when required.
*Interact closely with other departments, office and overseas subsidiaries within their company’s Group.
*Cooperate with accounts to reduce overdue sales invoices.
*Research any changes on regulations related to freight forwarding.
*Propose new ideas to improve customer service.
*Provide ad-hoc assistance to HHG section if required.
*Ad-hoc support to Line Managers.

Skills and Experience

• Bi-lingual skills. (English and Japanese)
• More than 3 years' prior experience of sales administrator in Freight Forwarding industry.
• Freight Forwarding business knowledge, especially in the field of food and pharmaceutical
shipment.
• A great sense of self-motivation, ambition and determination.
• Ability to achieve desired results both individually and as a part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
