Barista / All rounder

The Cracked Coffee Co is a coffee shop in Fitzrovia, just opened since this week, we will serve coffee from multiple roasters in uk to start with, will be serving espresso based drinks, batch brew and some manual drips/AeroPress, potentially try other things in the future as we adjust and explore our menu beverage options. Our downstairs kitchen will provide the café with sandwiches and warm food (buffet style) exclusively in take away including on the premises. Inside the location there are only 3 tables and a few high seats on the bar+ benches in front of the shop but also a spacious quiet private garden.

**Responsibilities**

* Prepare and serve high-quality coffee according to customer requests
* Taking orders, waiting tables and maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and supplies
* Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers with a smile and making them feel welcome
* Opportunity to get involved in marketing activities such as social media
* Contribute and get involved with new ideas and suggestions for improvement if they get implemented or not (appreciated regardless)

**Experience/ Requirements**

* Coffee experience is a bonus but not essential, training can be provided
* A good attitude, an appetite to learn and a friendly personality
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Excited about working in a start-up environment and having opportunities to make an impact from the beginning

***Wage range will be 12-14£/h***
Little or no experience, it will be 11£/h for the first month followed by an upgrade to at least 12£/h but it will be according to the progression and skills. By experience we're referring to being able to operate/maintain/clean equipment such as lamarzocco Linea PB, Victoria Arduino grinders and other machines, latte art skills, espresso and pour over knowledge etc"
