Job Purpose: As General Assistant, you will order, organise and display Japanese lifestyle products such as Books, Magazines, homeware, crockery, anime/manga merchandise etc on the shop floor. You will operate tills, up-sell to and assist customers. .
Location: White city - W12 7HB
Pay: £10.50/ Hour
Working hours: Minimum 20 a week, shifts are scheduled on a rota basis between 9am -10pm(subject to change) weekdays and weekends.
Job purpose:
Order and restock Lifestyle products such as books, magazines, crockery and anime/ manga merchandise.
Check deliveries
Maintain clear communication with Manager.
Refill our shelves with the relevant products
Provide exceptional customer service at all times
To be an ambassador for the Japan Centre Group Brand
To assist customers while they are in our sites with any questions or queries they may have
To serve customers through the till
To assist customer packing or carrying their shopping within our sites
To prepare food for our customers
Adhering to Food Safety and Health and Safety standards
To advise our customers about our food products
To serve food to our customers
Check & rotate date codes to ensure we provide our customers with quality products
Complete stocktaking activities on a periodic basis
This job requires you to stand throughout your working shifts
Manual Handling - lifting, bending, stretching and carrying heavy items
Essential Skills:
Previous experience in a similar role
Full training is provided
A two hour trial shift is required before employment can be considered.
