Accountant officer at Pre-owned retail Company
Located in a diverse luxury workplace in Central London, the company is looking for a Accountant office to grow its business in overseas markets.
◆Overview
An accountant officer distributes the financial resources of a company, is responsible for the daily financial transaction, management of cash flow, P&L and fixed asset, and supports a managing director by offering insights and financial advice that will allow him to make the best business decisions for the company.
This position is responsible for all of financial reports in liaison with Valuence International (HK), as well as the global headquarters Valuence Holding (Tokyo).
◆Main Responsibilities
• You are required to cover fully from booking transactions on our internal accounting software MYOB and preparing the VAT declaration quarterly (closing preparing the annual financial statement)
• Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information
• Prepare invoices, credit notes, return receipts, etc.
• Preform monthly inventory check with sales team.
• Visualizing future cash requirement on operation base.
• Reporting to management and stakeholders and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted.
• Producing financial reports each month related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
• Reviewing, monitoring, and managing cash-flow, BS and P&L.
• Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk
• Analysing market trends and competitors of financial tactics. (Payment, commission and etc)
• Managing international money transfer with Valuence International HK and Valuence Holding Tokyo, including bank reconciliation, reconciliation of internal accounts and external accounts.
• Processing of internal validations of expenditure controls and payments.
• Assistance in relations with external accounting firms and external auditors, if necessary.
• Guarantee of conformity / compliance (compliance with legislative and regulatory provisions in accounting, financial, social and tax matters).
• Propose internally the most suitable process and method to transact payment.
◆Requirements:
- 5 years or above experiences in UK accountancy or financial industry
- Desirable for the experience in international accountancy or financial industry
- Practical knowledge and experiences of VAT and booking
- General experiences, such as PC skill, language requirements, manner & attitude requirements, etc.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Interested in working in an international environment.
- Flexible and able to handle a variety of tasks.
- Good organisational skills
