Looking for assistant baker/chef

Chamomile is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our Pastry Chef with all kitchen tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals currently undergoing culinary education or recent graduates looking to gain practical experience in a professional setting.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the Pastry Chef in preparing ingredients, baking, and executing recipes.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
- Wash and prepare baking tools and equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

- Some experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not mandatory.
- 1+ years in a professional kitchen environment or enrollment in/recent completion of a culinary program.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Authorization to work in the UK.
