Managing Director / Retail – Japanese and English

Hours: Full time
Location: London, UK (with travel)
Salary: £38-40k p/a - doe

Responsibilities:
• Identifying and contacting potential business partners, vendors, and suppliers
• Staying up-to-date with the latest collections and product knowledge for our Asian
clients
• Seeking and managing bulk orders and purchases
• Establishing new and existing long-term business relationships
• Travelling to Europe and Asia
• Analysing and developing strategies to maximise sales
• Supervising and reviewing employees performance
• Conducting photo-shooting as an art director, maintaining a premium online store
appearance.
• Organising and maintaining inventory
• Ensuring all shipments are received and dispatched on time
• Reviewing sales KPIs and preparing sales report
• Maintaining a record of all accounts payable and receivable
• Scheduling staff training workshops and providing necessary mentorship
• Assisting the evaluation, development, and training of team members

Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years experience working in retail/wholesale
• Strong digital skills such as Microsoft Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to build and maintain relationships
• Results driven
• High attention to detail with exceptional written communication skills in Japanese for
online and in person communication
• Experience in overseeing wholesale retail and wholesale e-com accounts
• Well-presented, professional and articulate, with a genuine passion for the luxury
industry.
• Effective managerial skills, able to train, motivate and develop a team to produce
outstanding results
