Trade Marketing and Sales Manager, France and EU
Part-time position, 20 hours a week
The initial contract is 6 months to 1 year, with the possibility of extension.
Workplace: London office and frequent travel to Paris, often over weekends

Job Description
1. Marketing
Creating/maintaining French Marketing Calendar, Event Planning (at the time of Collection Launches and retailers’ event periods), Euro pricing vs JPY & Sterling, coordinating French brand website translation, communicating with buyers and getting NPD orders raised, requesting Meta ads & newsletters from UK Marketing Team.
2. Sales
Communicating with an FR team (1 counter), collecting sales information on own and competitors. Organising training sessions.
3. Team management
Supporting the manager motivates the manager and the team. HR tasks include appraisal, recruitment, disciplinary, communicating with the HR solicitor for staff contracts, and payroll support. Working with staffing agencies.
4. Delivery and stock ops
Delivery Update to the counter team and the buyer
5. Regulatory Affairs
Liaising with regulatory departments.
6. Invoicing/receiving invoices
Creating commercial invoices for shipment of testers and samples, receiving and processing invoices.
7. Travel
Travelling to France once every 6 weeks (1-3 nights stay each time), working at counter(s), timing the travel to hit multiple objectives, including event support over Saturdays and Sundays.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in related areas of duties and business as described above
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (database) and PowerPoint.
• Excellent business writing, reporting, and speaking in English.
• Experience in or understanding of counterwork and team management as a manager
• Experience in luxury makeup and skincare services
• Experience in communicating with buyers or management in businesses (understanding authorities)
• Understanding of French employment laws and working customs
• Some understanding of EU regulations in cosmetics and willingness to advance the knowledge quickly., working with related parties.
• Some understanding of the French language, especially in reading contracts and retail partners’ decks. Preferably intermediate and above. Willingness to learn further.
• Some understanding of business laws and financial statements.
• Self-starter, self-motivator, self-researcher
• Flexibility in working hours.
• Absolute willingness to be hands-on to do manual work to get the job done.
