Cook Required for Cafe in Hackney, E2

Café in premium location of Hackney, East London currently recruiting an passionate and excellent part time chef with possible ancillary customer serving interpersonal skills.

Previous experience in a similar position is desired but not essential.
* Prepare dishes according to set menu or opportunity to create new dishes, coffee and soft drinks;
* Responsible for regular replenishment of all food and beverages as well as displays;
*Understanding and utilizing stock control;
*Understand the health and safety standards relating to foods and more generally strict standards in compliance with UK Legislation;
*Be able to exercise all areas of cooking with excellence and high standards;
*Be able to work under pressure;
*Be reliable, non smoker, and punctual;
*Be available to greet customers, inform them about promotions or new products, answer questions and accept orders and payments;
* Serve freshly prepared foods like cakes, sandwiches and pastries;
* Company staff are responsible for inventory management and supply of food products.
Experience:
• Cooking and Hospitality Experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Customer Service: 1 year (preferred).
Job Types: Full-time, or Part-time, or Zero hours contract
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
