SHOJIN MANIA is a brand dedicated to introducing traditional Japanese food in a way that resonates with younger generations in the UK. Our products, such as Kinako (roasted soybean flour) and high-quality miso, align with modern wellness trends and cater to health-conscious consumers.
We are looking for an experienced freelance sales representative to expand our presence in cafés, restaurants, health-conscious retailers, and gourmet food stores across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute B2B sales strategies targeting cafés, restaurants, specialty stores, and online retailers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
Educate customers about SHOJIN MANIA’s products and their unique benefits.
Close sales deals and onboard new customers.
Provide market insights, customer feedback, and sales performance updates.
Work independently while staying aligned with the company's vision.
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in food, wellness, or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods).
Strong network and relationships within the hospitality and specialty food retail industries.
Passion for Japanese food and an understanding of the health-conscious market.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
Based in the UK and legally allowed to work as a contractor.
Compensation & Benefits
💰 Commission-Based Model
Retail B2B Sales (Cafés, Restaurants, Small Shops) → 10% of sales revenue
Wholesale B2B Sales (Distributors, Large Retailers) → 5% of sales revenue
📌 Additional Fixed Rewards (Per Transaction)
£100 per deal closed
£250 per deal if the order value is £1,000 or more
£1,000+ success fee for large transactions over £10,000
