Sushi Chef/Helper

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Nobu Hotels first European hotel, Nobu Hotel Shoreditch, opening in spring 2017. We are seeking Sushi Chefs to join the pre-opening team at the Nobu Hotel Shoreditch.

Located on Willow Street in the Shoreditch area of London, the hotel will feature 150 rooms including 7 suites, an 80-seat lobby lounge and a 240 seat Nobu restaurant with outdoor courtyard. Additionally, the property boasts a 179 square metre event space with natural light, and wellness facilities. Unique to London, Nobu Hotel Shoreditch offers a blend of Shoreditch’s creative energy with Nobu’s ethos of simple luxury.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that service is aligned with the Nobu philosophy and standard at all times.
Demonstrate skills and competencies to the art of sushi making.
Promote and maintain a safe, clean and friendly workplace environment for co-workers and guests.
Display and demonstrate excellent people skills, creating positive working relationships.
Know how to serve, speak, and conduct yourself while on property in a professional manner.
Recognize that guest service and attention to detail is your top priority.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Knowledgeable and 100\% compliant with all Health and Safety procedures and demonstrate a positive health and safety culture supporting Nobu safety policies.
