We are looking for an aupair

We are a family of 5.

Stee my partner who owns 2 Michelin star restaurants, me Kat who works in the City and loves fashion and passionate about Muay Thai, yoga and nutrition, our 2 children Lilia 8 and Leonid 6 and our lovely small chihuahua jack Russell Yorkshire 11 year old dog Bella (who is super cuddly and friendly).

We have hosted 10 au pairs so far and are absolutely in love with Japan and Japanese culture.
Our last 4 au pairs who stayed were also Japanese.

We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible ideally end of August, beginning of September but could be a little flexible.

We provide a large double bed room with separate bathroom in a 4 bedroom house in Hackney Central with a garden.

We need help for 17-20 hours max a week (Wednesdays-Fridays) and very rarely extra babysitting when we’re away. We’re very flexible and can also work around your schedule.
All our au pairs had extra jobs so we are absolutely fine with you working extra jobs outside your au pair hours.

We encourage our au pairs to immerse themselves in the culture and always happy to help with tips on things to do, places to see or eat or European adventures.
We are looking for someone happy and bubbly who loves children and spending time with them.
We always live all together as a family so you can get involved in our activities as little or as much as you want.
Sunday night Stee usually cooks a traditional roast dinner followed by a movie we all watch together (we have a projector).
Mondays is also very often movie nights or live drawing classes we do together. We’ve watched all studio Ghibli movies ❤️.
We love all things Asian and like to make suchis or dumplings together.

Your responsibilities from Wednesday to Friday will include:
• getting the children ready, breakfast and take them to school
• ⁠pick them up from school, take them to after school activities
• ⁠tidy up children room, toys, clothes
• ⁠kids laundry
• ⁠cooking dinner for me & the children
• ⁠walking Bella
The above represents roughly 17-20 hours of work max and we’re flexible around the schedule.
You will be provided with:
• a large room & bathroom (usually rented out at 1200£/month)
• ⁠pocket money
• ⁠all food, drinks, essentials included (we put no restrictions on what you eat/drink and make weekly/ad hoc shops)
• ⁠discounts on shops, restaurants, travel, fitness, etc (I have access to a long list of discounted providers through my work I extend to the family)
• ⁠a loving caring home 🏠 and celebratory dinners at a Michelin star restaurant
