Looking for Sales Support
The role
To carry out sales support activities for the purpose of maintaining and increasing the sales in the Ireland market for Japanese food and beverages, in accordance with agreed upon business plans and targets.
Key Tasks/ Responsibilities:
• Receive and process sales orders from customers accurately and quickly from email, telephone, or EDI if necessary.
• Assist with sales analysis and activity to achieve agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, and timescales.
• Assist Sales Team personnel to maintain and develop existing and new customers to optimise not only sales but quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
• Respond to and follow up sales enquiries from customers and business partners.
• Communicate and liaise closely with the warehouse and delivery partners in Ireland to ensure the highest possible service levels are achieved with customers.
• Attend training and continuously develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills.
• Adhere to the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Support the sales team with customer administration through the input of various data to set up new products and pricing.
• Help with the preparation of sales promotion events, exhibitions, etc, when necessary.
Key Deliverables:
• Achievement of high levels of service to the customer.
• Development of good relationships with new customers and enhancement of relationships with existing customer.
• Development of a close working relationship with the Ireland Sales Manager, the rest of the sales team, and all other functions in the Company.
• Reporting in agreed format and frequency to Ireland Sales Manager on Sales Support activity.

• Maintenance of an efficient and focused Sales Support Team.

• Contribution to overall team performance and satisfaction.
Requirements
• Fluency in the English language a must. Chinese and Japanese language skills are a huge plus.
• Must be in possession of a valid working visa. Cannot sponsor a working visa in Ireland.
• Hybrid working environment. General rule of 2 working days per week in the Dublin city centre office.
• Prior knowledge of Japanese food and beverage products highly favoured.
