Production Assistant

We are currently looking for a talented new Production Assistant to work on a variety of filming projects for Japanese television, including news, entertainment and documentaries.

Main duties will include:

-liaising with Japanese clients
-compiling written reports in Japanese
-interpreting between English and Japanese
-drawing up budgets for filming and research projects
-setting up shoots
-coordinating filming on-site

Key skills: Candidates must have initiative, enthusiasm and excellent social skills, and be able to demonstrate a clear determination to pursue a career in the filming industry. Native/near-native Japanese and English, and a good university degree (any subject) are essential. Previous experience working in media, particularly in TV, would be advantageous.

Salary: £18,000 – £21,000 p.a
