We are looking for an experienced barista to join our independent cafe on Hackney Road.
This role is only suitable for someone with previous barista experience who can confidently make high-quality coffee during busy service without needing full training.
You must be confident on the coffee machine, able to work quickly, keep the bar clean and organised, and deliver friendly customer service at the same time.
Main duties include:
Making consistently excellent espresso-based drinks
Preparing flat whites, lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, iced coffees and speciality drinks
Dialling in and maintaining coffee quality throughout the day
Steaming milk properly and producing good latte art
Serving customers warmly and professionally
Taking orders and using the till
Keeping the coffee area clean, stocked and organised
Managing takeaway cups, milk, syrups and fridge stock
Supporting counter service, pastries, cakes and food orders
Cleaning the coffee machine, grinder and bar area daily
Working quickly and calmly during busy periods

Requirements:
Previous barista experience is essential
Latte art experience preferred
Strong customer service skills
Right to work in the UK
Availability for daytime cafe shifts
