Customer Service and Product Creation Assistant
Overview:
We are looking for a Customer Service and Product Creation Assistant to join the team based at our online warehouse office. The main tasks are to create pages for new products in both Japanese and English and help with product management for existing products. You will also be responsible for providing customer service to customers through either phone or email enquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create product pages for new items and liaise with the photographer about the needed images for products, either new or updates to existing products
• Proofreading and editing product pages
• Liaise with the internal team to ensure our product pages/merchandising are accurate and up-to-date
• Help the Online team with administration of web pages & products

• Assisting with category and tags creation/association for products

• Help the Online team with administration of web pages & products
• Timely completion of daily administration tasks such as order management, payment and labels, and handling enquiries.
• Reply promptly, accurately and politely to enquiries by email or phone in English (90-95%) and Japanese (5-10%) as necessary. Taking responsibility for resolving customer complaints as quickly as possible using the escalation process where necessary, aiming to turn a negative into a positive.
• Handling forwarded email enquiries from customers in a timely manner
• Helping with the dispatching orders with the couriers if needed
• Being aware of overdue/urgent orders and reacting appropriately when orders may not meet the correct time frame and informing customers of delays
• Help with labelling and picking of orders due to busy periods as necessary
• Any other Ad Hoc duties.
Required Skills/Experience:
• Computer literate
• Experience in copywriting, preferably in a retail environment
• A keen interest/knowledge of Japanese cuisine and other Japanese products
• Able to manage time efficiently and delivery a variety of projects to a tight deadline as necessary
• Team player with the ability to develop good working relationships
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and with a variety of people at all levels
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Native Japanese speaker with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate in spoken and written English
• Experience in customer service in a similar retail environment
• Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK.

Hours: 9:00 – 18:00 (1 hour break), Monday- Friday
Salary: up to £19,000 depending on experience
