Private Chef / Housekeeper

We are looking for a full time creative and enthusiastic Private Chef in Totteridge & Whetstone, who enjoys preparing comfort food with a good repertoire of international dishes and always willing to expand and try new menus.

This opportunity comes from a busy mid-age entrepreneur who is looking for private Chef to take care of his daily meals. The meals will be prepared for one or two people, with occasional parties and business meetings for up to 4 people. The preparation is expected to be seasonal, healthy and fresh. Expertise in Japanese and Chinese cuisines is essential, European cuisine is a plus but not necessary. Although you will be working in a homely environment, professional manners are required at all the times.

A two-bedroom modern luxury flat is included in the job offer to live in for free, as the role requires living at the same location with no extra cost or salary deduction.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as chef with a vast knowledge of nutrition and new food and cuisine trends. Part of your responsibilities as well as preparing lunch and dinner daily, will be also keeping the flat tidy and clean, overseeing the food shopping.

Level 2 Food Safety and Level 1 Health & Safety will be preferable, although further training will be provided during the induction.

The role requires some flexibility in the working hours (usually 5 to 6 days a week) depending on the businessman busy business activities.

Salary will be discussed during the face to face interview which it will include a cooking trial. After successful completion of the probation salary could be review based on overall performance.
