WE’RE HIRING — FOH BARISTA / CAFÉ ALL-ROUNDER ☕🥐

Crumbles & Brew | Hackney Road, London

We’re looking for an experienced, energetic and reliable Front of House Barista / Café All-Rounder to join our small independent café and bakery.

We want someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality — someone who notices when the counter needs filling, welcomes customers warmly, keeps the café looking beautiful and knows how to turn a quiet moment into a productive one.

The role includes:

- Making consistently good coffee
- Taking orders and operating the till
- Welcoming and engaging with customers
- Recommending pastries, sandwiches and café offers
- Keeping the pastry and sandwich counter full and attractive
- Restocking throughout the day
- Maintaining excellent cleanliness and presentation
- Helping with opening and closing duties
- Working closely with the bakery/kitchen team
- Taking responsibility rather than waiting to be asked

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Experienced in café, coffee shop or hospitality FOH
- Confident making espresso-based drinks
- Friendly, positive and comfortable talking to customers
- Fast and organised during busy periods
- Reliable and punctual
- Naturally tidy and attentive to detail
- Commercially minded — you should enjoy recommending products and increasing sales
- Happy working as part of a small team where everyone helps each other

We care a lot about good coffee, beautiful food displays and warm customer service.

Previous café/barista experience is strongly preferred.
