Market Research Executive

Market research agency Tokyoesque (http://tokyoesque.com) seeks a native or native-level Japanese speaker to join our team.

The candidate is expected to have excellent written and verbal ability in Japanese and English with a keen eye for market research and consumer trends within Europe and Asia. This job is remote (work-from-home) and pay is £10/hour, 35 hours / week.

The initial contract will be for 3 months with potential to become permanent.

Summary of Primary Job Responsibilities:

Assist with UK- and Japan-related research
Translate materials between Japanese and English
Write regular articles/content both in Japanese and English for clients
Liaise with existing clients and generate leads, both in Japan and the UK
Knowledge/Skills

Native or Native-level written and spoken Japanese and English
Ability to work remotely
Good writing skills
Experience with sales a plus
Keen understanding of both Western & Japanese business culture
Additional fluency / proficiency in Korean or Mandarin Chinese also highly sought after
