Over the past 6 years we have been working with a number of global brands requiring fully localised and optimised websites and search campaigns. Many of our clients were planning to expand globally and multilingually so they were looking for a strategy to efficiently create localised content at top quality. Clients across the agency include: Gucci, Ralph Lauren, ASOS, Nuance, Aman Resorts, British Airways and Hilton amongst many others.

An opportunity has arisen for a Japanese Linguist Intern to join our team!

The position is offered as an internship in our offices in London where you will have the chance to work with the Content team and receive training on all our tools and processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Localisation of paid media content into your native language

· Generate original content in your native language

· Linguistic tasks such as review, proofread and QA of localised contents

· Contribute to market research for your native market and provide market insights

· CMS manipulation for localisation tasks

· Create and maintain glossaries, term-bases, style guides and translation memories

REQUIREMENTS

· Must be bilingual with fluent English skills in addition to native proficiency in Japanese

· Translation or linguistic degree or qualification is highly beneficial

· Basic understanding of PPC and SEO an advantage

· Proficient in Excel

· Attention to detail

· Ability to work independently

· Proactive approach to work – bringing ideas and questions to the team

· Passionate about languages

· Reliable and hardworking

· Additional languages are an advantage
