The Mai Taiko Food Truck Supervisor reports to the Operation Manager and must be familiar with all aspects of the operation at the Mai Taiko Food Truck. Responsible for supervising the daily operation in the truck, as well as driving sales and supervising stock control on a daily basis. Key responsibility includes management of opening and closing of the truck, being in possession of the key, and supervising of food truck operatives. The role includes driving the truck to and from venues, therefore a towing license is desirable, but a confident driver can be trained accordingly.

The job role includes varied locations, especially in the summer months, and a willingness / flexibility towards travel and staying in a different location for a duration of 1 day to 2 months depending on event.


Skills:

• Able to develop and motivate a team to communicate effectively at all 　　　　levels
• Understanding and knowledge of Japanese Cuisine
• Kitchen experience, able to supervise a small kitchen team effectively
• Previous management experience within a food-led business is desirable
• Ability to supervise the truck with a pro-active and positive attitude
• Planning and organisational skills
• Administration skills
• Excellent attention to detail and standards
• Leadership skills with the ability to demonstrate a hands on approach to 　　　　your work.
• Excellent customer care skills
• Understanding and experience with EPOS systems
• High level of flexibility and credibility - reliability is crucial
• Full driving license and confident driving ability is essential, a car
towing license is desirable

Working Hours
Minimum of 40 hours per week – flexible shift pattern
You may be required to work outside of your normal working hours and unsocial working hours if required.
