***Full-time work recruiting volunteers for clinical trials, £20,000–£22,500 per annum (experience is not essential) ***

We are an independent contract research organisation (CRO) with a worldwide reputation. We help pharmaceutical companies to develop new medicines through clinical trials. We’re looking for people to recruit Japanese volunteers living in the UK to take part in our clinical trials. Your role would be: to talk to the volunteers over the phone, or in person, to explain what a clinical trial is; to explain the particular trials we’re recruiting for; and to assist with medical screenings of the volunteers. Experience of clinical trials is not essential because we give you full training (training will be given in English).

There’s no need to have experience of working in a scientific or healthcare environment, or to have a science qualification, but if you do, that would be an advantage. A customer services background with some telephone working would also be a help. You’d need a good standard of English to communicate with non-Japanese volunteers, and to communicate with English-speaking doctors and medical staff. Your interview would be in English.
It’s a full-time position and you must have eligibility to work in the UK for at least a year - please include your visa status in your CV.

Your salary would be £20,000–£22,500 per annum depending on your experience. You would work full-time office hours from Monday to Friday.
