英語教師 English tutor in London

Hello, my name is Chris Campbell, I am from the UK, and I am an English tutor/proof-reader with over four years’ experience working in China (Beijing mostly). I have taught students of all ages and abilities, and of varying nationalities including Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Italian. As such, I have experience in private one-to-one and group classes for various purposes including exams preparation (including IELTS), business English and everyday communication.

My experience in China includes me teaching small classes for Beijing University, Beijing Forestry University and various Beijing high schools. I have also worked with Sinopec and PetroChina, as well as tutoring area managers for Adidas, Ecco and Aigle. Whilst in China I was also employed as the Academic Manager for LinkoHR which provides training services to Chinese automotive manufacturers. This role involved creating Lesson Plans for trainers to follow, deciding topics to be taught and assisting in the creation of class materials.

As a private tutor my focus is on the student becoming confident and comfortable in their proficiency. I aim to have each student speak as often as possible in classes whilst following bespoke training materials created by me to suit the level and interests of my students.

I am now offering private or group classes in London for students of any age and ability. My prices are from £17 an hour for classes up to two people and £25 an hour for groups of three or more (no limit on group sizes). I am based in Holborn, and I am available to travel to most places throughout London. I am available to teach from 5pm on weekdays and any time on Fridays or weekends. Online classes are also available.
