Primary School | Small Group Japanese Speaking Practice for English-Dominant Bilingual Children (West Acton)

For parents with primary school children in West Acton / Ealing.

We are exploring interest in a **small-group Japanese speaking practice space** for children growing up in **English-dominant or bilingual environments**,
where they can feel comfortable speaking Japanese.

This is suitable for children who:

* Understand Japanese but are hesitant to speak
* Have limited opportunities to use Japanese
* Did not feel comfortable in reading/writing-focused Japanese classes
* Tend to default to English because speaking Japanese feels intimidating

The sessions include **activities such as games, crafts, and storytime**, where children can **naturally use Japanese while interacting with friends**.
Thanks to the small group size, **each child receives tailored support based on their individual progress and comfort**, so they can use Japanese at their own pace.
Children are never pressured to speak.

The sessions are hosted by an
**Early Childhood & Bilingual Development Specialist (former Japanese kindergarten principal / 40+ years experience in early childhood education)**,
ensuring a supportive and safe environment for each child.
