Hello! My name is Nancy and I have been teaching English as a foreign language for over 15 years. I have taught a variety of levels, from Beginners to Advanced and have worked with students from all over the world. I have worked as a Senior Teacher for 8 years in successful language schools in London and my favourite classes to teach are exam classes, specifically IELTS and OET because I know I can help my students achieve their goals and dreams.

I have an in depth knowledge of all aspects of the IELTS exam and over the years I have successfully worked with candidates who want to achieve bands 6.5-8.0. Apart from that, over the past year I have been working closely with health professionals equipping them with the right strategies to pass the Occupational English Test and guiding them through all skills including Speaking. I am also specialised in teaching students with Dyslexia and have experience in teaching English for Academic Purposes and Academic Skills preparing students for university study in the UK.

I love my profession because I find it extremely rewarding to discover what works for each student as we are all individuals and have different needs. My priority is to design lessons that work for each student based not only on their language needs, but also on their interests and my main goal is to guide them on achieving their goals and being successful, but also giving them the tools to become independent learners as language learning never really stops. Some of my favourite things include a good cup of coffee, reading historical fiction books and spending time by the sea whenever I can.
