DO YOU WANT TO IMPROVE YOUR LISTENING ABILITY?

This is a chance to focus on a skill that is often ignored. Being able to catch the gist of what someone says is fine, but that doesn’t improve your listening. This training looks at exactly what “you” are hearing and helps you to understand why mistakes are happening, so that you can better catch “exactly” what native speakers are saying at natural speed.

The training consists of an initial assessment-a dictation-where you write down exactly what you hear. After training on any weak points found in the assessment, you can redo the assessment and check your progress. Detailed feedback about any mistakes in the assessment and training will be given as well as looking at a variety of sounds/words that can cause problems.

The training can also help you improve your vocabulary and grammar.

The cost is £30 and will include 2 discussions via Skype or FaceTime.
