My name is Ray, and I am a freelance Japanese - English translator.
I have translation experience in Tokyo, Japan at an IT software company and in Vancouver, Canada at a real estate company. My English and Japanese is both at a native level.
I have continually felt that the language industry overcharges clients for their requests, and felt the need to shift to freelance.

In addition to translation of business letters, presentation documents, essays, contracts, artwork descriptions, and script for a short movie, I also have experience in translating children's books and song lyrics.
I feel that the flow of the words and the expression is just as important as the accuracy of the translation itself.

I do both English to Japanese, as well as Japanese to English translation.
